BUZZ-Ameren dips after $520 million stock offering announced

** Shares of utility co Ameren Corp AEE.N down 0.9% at $94.55 post-market after stock offering news

** St. Louis, Missouri-based Ameren announces $520 mln stock offering as part of forward sale

** Co plans to enter into forward sale agreements with jt bookrunners Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Barclays and Wells Fargo

** Upon settlement settlement of the agreements, to occur on or prior to Jan 15, 2027, co intends to use net proceeds for general purposes, including to repay short-term debt

** With ~270.3 mln shares outstanding, Ameren has $25.8 bln market cap

** AEE closed down 2% at $95.42 on Mon, trimming YTD gain to ~7%. In comparison, S&P 500 Utilities index .SPLRCU up 5% in 2025
