Investors Raise European Equities Allocations, BofA Survey Shows -- Market Talk

1237 GMT - A net 35% of global investors have increased their allocations to European equities, the Bank of America European fund manager survey for May show, up from 22% in April. Further earnings estimate upgrades and a continued drop in risk premia are seen as the most likely factors that will lift European equities. Zero percent of respondents expect material downside for the region's shares, down from 11% last month, BofA said in a press release accompanying the survey. (miriam.mukuru@wsj.com)
