Virtus Investment Partners Inc. has announced its preliminary assets under management (AUM) totaling $163.7 billion, with additional fee-earning assets amounting to $2.1 billion, bringing the total client assets to $165.8 billion. The decrease in AUM from the previous month is attributed to market performance and net outflows in U.S. retail funds, institutional accounts, retail separate accounts, and global funds. However, this was partially offset by positive net flows in exchange-traded funds. By product type, open-end funds accounted for $52.7 billion, closed-end funds for $10.2 billion, retail separate accounts for $45.3 billion, and institutional accounts for $55.5 billion. By asset class, equity holdings were $91.1 billion, fixed income $37.6 billion, multi-asset $20.6 billion, and alternatives $14.4 billion.
