新浪科技讯 5月13日下午消息，在中巴两国政府代表见证下，中国美的医疗旗下万东医疗与巴西VMI集团今日签署战略合作备忘录。巴西总统卢拉、总统府首席部长、卫生部长等出席签约仪式。

　　根据协议内容，双方将在巴西成立合资公司，重点开展MRI、CT及Cath lab等高端医疗装备的研发与本土化生产。合资企业将设立生产设施与研发中心，推动医疗技术适应当地市场需求，并共同开拓拉美市场。

　　据了解，万东医疗作为中国医疗设备制造领军企业，与VMI集团已有15年合作历史。双方共同合作的超导磁共振已在巴西市场实现安装与销售。VMI集团是巴西本土知名医疗影像设备制造商，拥有35年行业经验和本地化服务网络。

　　卢拉总统在签约仪式上表示，这一合作是中巴经贸合作的重要成果，将进一步提升巴西高端医疗设备制造能力，促进当地医疗水平提升。中方代表指出，将积极推动合作项目落地见效，为深化中巴医疗卫生领域合作作出新贡献。（文猛）
