Insurance Advisory Partners adds James to London office

May 15 - (The Insurer) - Insurance Advisory Partners has appointed of Benjamin James as partner in its London office, the company announced on Thursday.

The appointment will take effect at the end of June. James will be responsible for the ongoing expansion of the insurance-focused boutique investment banking firm's operation in the UK and Europe.

He will work closely with IAP's existing partners: Bhaven Pathak, who heads UK and Europe, and Clive Buesnel, international managing partner and former CEO of Tysers.

James was previously investment and advisory director at Vemi Capital, prior to which he was vice president at Financial Services Capital.
