BlockBeats News, May 15th, Bitlayer, a project based on BitVM technology in the Bitcoin ecosystem, announced a partnership with the high-performance public chain Sui. The two parties will jointly implement the trust-minimized BTC bridge solution, BitVM Bridge, and promote the integration and adoption of the BitVM Bridge core component Peg-BTC (YBTC) in the Sui ecosystem.

With the launch of Peg-BTC (YBTC), users will be able to explore various DeFi scenarios such as asset exchange, lending, and staking yield on the Sui network. This collaboration also marks a key milestone in the multi-chain ecosystem deployment of BitVM Bridge. As the first BTCFi infrastructure built on BitVM, BitVM Bridge has now partnered with Sui, Base, Starknet, Arbitrum, Sonic, Plume Network, and Sundial, among 7 mainstream public chains and protocols, and will expand to more ecosystems in the future. According to official sources, BitVM Bridge has entered its final testing phase and is expected to launch its mainnet soon.
