Intuitive Surgical (ISRG) said Thursday it named President David Rosa to serve as chief executive and succeed current CEO Gary Guthart.
Guthart will become the executive chair of the board and current Board Chair Craig Barratt will serve as lead independent director, the company said.
Intuitive added that Guthart will serve as a senior advisor.
The changes will take effect July 1.
