5月14日(周三)，美国能源信息署(EIA)称，随着美国进口更多石油，美国上周原油库存上升，而汽油和馏分油库存在夏季驾车季节到来之前下降。
EIA称，在截至5月9日的一周内，美国原油库存增加了350万桶，达到4.418亿桶，此前市场预期为减少110万桶。
上周美国原油净进口增42.2万桶/日。
数据公布后，布伦特和美国原油期货跌幅扩大，北京时间22:46，两份合约均下跌约0.7%。
汽油和馏分油库存在夏季驾车季开始前双双下降，夏季驾车季通常从5月底的阵亡将士纪念日周末开始。
EIA称，当周美国汽油库存减少100万桶，至2.2471亿桶，市场此前预期为减少56万桶。
包括柴油和取暖油在内的馏分油库存减少320万桶，至1.0355亿桶，为2005年4月以来最低。分析师此前预期为增加13万桶。
EIA称，上周俄克拉荷马州库欣交割中心的原油库存减少了110万桶。
EIA表示，炼油厂原油日加工量增加33万桶。
本周炼油厂产能利用率上升了1.2个百分点。
