据路透引述消息人士称，欧盟反垄断部门将接受微软公司提出的扩大Office软件在加入即时通讯平台Teams后的产品售价差距，作为解决其涉嫌违背反垄断法规的方案。案件源于即时通讯平台Slack在2020年向欧盟投诉，指微软把Office及Teams捆绑销售的行为，是滥用Office在办公室软件市场的支配者地位，以不公平手法促销Teams，违反欧盟反垄断法规。
欧盟反垄断机关经过调查后认同有关观点，要求微软作出改变，否则会判处巨额罚款。微软其后提供含Teams平台及不含Teams平台的两个版本，供欧洲客户选购。不过，欧洲软件商认为，两者售价差距不大，仍不足以解决问题。消息人士指出，微软最新建议扩大价格差距，欧盟则初步同意有关改变，作为解决方案。但欧盟仍会咨询业界看法，再作出最终决定。
