BlockBeats News, May 15th, DeFiance Capital Founder and Chief Investment Officer Arthur posted on X platform, stating, "Coinbase really needs to address their issues. If the Coinbase platform ultimately becomes a honeypot of user important information, there is no reason not to require continuous KYC."

BlockBeats previously reported that hackers, by bribing overseas customer service personnel, stole part of the personal information of less than 1% of Coinbase's active users, but did not involve passwords, private keys, or funds. Coinbase refused to pay a $20 million ransom and established a $20 million reward fund to track down the attackers. Affected customers who were scammed due to fraud transfers will receive compensation.
