China Shenhua Energy's (HKG:1088) coal production slipped 3.9% to 27.3 million tonnes in April from 28.4 million tonnes in the year-ago period, according to a Thursday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.
Sales slid 4% to 35.6 million tonnes from 37.1 million tonnes in the prior-year period, the filing said.
Gross power generation declined 9.9% to about 15 billion kilowatt-hours from 16.6 billion kilowatt-hours in the year-ago period.
Total power output dispatch fell 9.5% to 14.1 billion kilowatt-hours from 15.6 billion kilowatt-hours in April 2024.
