【环球网科技综合报道】5 月 14 日消息，据外媒CNBC报道，亚马逊公司于周三证实，将在其设备和服务部门裁员约 100 人。
据悉，该部门业务广泛，涵盖了 Alexa 语音助手、Echo 硬件、Ring 视频门铃以及 Zoox 机器人出租车等诸多领域。
亚马逊发言人克里斯蒂・施密特（Kristy Schmidt）在一份声明中表示：“为了使我们的团队和项目更高效地运作，并更好地与我们的产品路线图保持一致，我们做出了一个艰难的决定，裁减少数职位。我们不会轻易做出这些决定，我们致力于支持受影响的员工度过过渡期。”
不过，此次裁员具体涉及该组织内哪些团队，亚马逊公司并未透露。并且，亚马逊方面还表示，将继续在设备和服务部门进行人员招聘。
值得一提的是，亚马逊首席执行官安迪・贾西（Andy Jassy）一直在推进全公司的成本削减任务。自 2022 年初以来，该公司已累计裁员 2.7 万人。即便到了今年，裁员行动仍在持续，只不过规模相较于前几年有所减小。而设备和服务部门在 2022 年以及 2023 年同样经历过裁员风波 。（青山）
