【美CFTC代理主席Caroline Pham计划在新任主席就任后离职】金色财经报道，美国商品期货交易委员会（CFTC）代理主席Caroline Pham计划在新任主席就任后离职，共和党委员Summer Mersinger此前已确认将于6月出任区块链协会CEO。若两人同时离任，CFTC将仅剩民主党委员Kristin Johnson和可能上任的新主席Brian Quintenz，即形成1:1的党派比例（而非多数党控制）。 Quintenz曾任a16z政策负责人，若就任可能影响CFTC政策方向。目前国会正在审议扩大CFTC对加密货币监管权限的相关法案，委员人数不足可能影响立法进程。CFTC正常编制应为5名委员，包括3名多数党委员和2名少数党委员。Mersinger离职后将担任区块链协会CEO，该协会主要推动加密货币相关政策。Pham在任期间主张调整CFTC的监管方式，减少对加密货币领域采取执法行动。近期特朗普政府持续调整联邦监管机构人事安排，已撤换多名民主党任命的官员。
