FireFly Metals Ltd, an emerging copper-gold company, has announced an acceleration in its drill program at the high-grade Green Bay Copper-Gold Project in Newfoundland, Canada. The company, well-funded with approximately A$68.5 million in cash and investments, is focused on expanding operations by introducing a sixth underground drill to enhance resource estimates. FireFly Metals aims to incorporate these findings into their 2025 Mineral Resource Estimate updates. The project, which has seen a 42% increase in resource estimates to 1.2 million tonnes of contained metal, benefits from extensive exploration activities, including geophysical surveys and field sampling. The company is also initiating surface exploration drilling targeting the Rambler VMS district in 2025.
