Hewlett Packard Enterprise Co. $(HPE)$ has been selected by the Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information (KISTI) to build South Korea's largest and most advanced supercomputer, KISTI-6. This sixth-generation supercomputer will be entirely direct liquid-cooled, aimed at enhancing AI and high-performance computing $(HPC.AU)$ simulations for researchers across academia and industry. The project, in collaboration with AMD and NVIDIA, will integrate HPE Cray Supercomputing Storage Systems with advanced data management solutions, designed to meet KISTI's complex research needs. The initiative is part of a strategic effort to strengthen Korea's capabilities in scientific research and AI innovation.
