CGN New Energy's (HKG:1811) power generation stood at 1,677.7 gigawatt-hours in April, up 5.7% from a year prior, a Thursday Hong Kong bourse filing said.
Output from wind and solar projects in China rose 18% and16%, respectively, year over year, with that of Chinese hydro projects and Korean projects declining by 57% and 11%.
From January to April, power generation fell by 1.5% to 6,448.7 gigawatt hours.
In the four months, the firm saw output from Chinese wind and solar projects rise by 3.4% and 10%, respectively, from a year prior. The power generation of hydro projects in China fell 24%, while that of Korea projects declined 11%.
