BUZZ-Australia's Livium surges on battery recycling agreement with BYD

** Shares of Livium LIT.AX rise 12.5% to A$0.009

** Stock rose as much as 18.8% to A$0.01 in early hours of trade, its largest intraday jump since early April

** Battery recycler says its unit entered into a recycling agreement with BYD Australia Pty, a subsidiary of Chinese electric car maker BYD 002594.SZ

** Agreement sees co appointed as preferred supplier for battery recycling services for BYD's business across the Australian market

** More than 7.4 million shares change hands, 2.4 times the 30-day average volume

** Stock down 43.8% YTD, including current session's moves
