中化新网讯 沙特基础工业公司（SABIC）5月4日表示，由于原料价格上涨和运营成本上升，第一季度该公司净亏损12.1亿沙特里亚尔。

该公司在沙特证券交易所Tadawul提交的文件表示，由于销量增加，该公司第一季度收入同比增加5.8%，至345.9亿里亚尔。尽管收入有所增长，但净利润仍受一次性战略重组费用10.7亿里亚尔的拖累。

今年第一季度，SABIC石化业务的收入为315亿里亚尔，环比下降1%。虽然甲醇价格有所改善，但由于供应增加和需求疲软，乙二醇（MEG）与聚丙烯（PP）的价格保持平稳。与此同时，聚乙烯（PE）价格受到全球需求的支撑，但被新增供应抵消。聚碳酸酯（PC）价格较低，主要由于市场需求疲软和供过于求。

SABIC首席执行官Abdulrahman Al-Fageeh表示：“一季度制造业采购经理人指数（PMI）增长仍然缓慢，我们将继续按计划推进增长项目，专注卓越运营和战略转型，同时保持财务纪律并提供长期价值。”
