参考消息网5月19日报道 据法新社5月18日报道，在美国总统特朗普前一天批评沃尔玛公司以关税为由涨价，要求该公司“消化”关税成本后，美国财政部长18日称，他已致电该公司首席执行官。

报道提到，这家美国零售业巨头15日在季度财报中警告说，特朗普的关税至少有一部分将转嫁给消费者，未来几周，部分商品价格会明显上涨。

该公司首席执行官道格·麦克米伦表示：“我们会尽最大努力，将价格保持在尽可能低的水平，但鉴于关税影响之大，即使税率有所降低，我们也无法承受所有的压力。”

特朗普17日在社交平台上强烈批评沃尔玛，称该公司“不应试图将涨价归咎于关税”。

特朗普说：“他们应该自己‘消化’这些关税，而不是向尊贵的顾客收费。”他还警告说：“我会一直盯着你们。”

报道称，美国财政部长斯科特·贝森特18日对美国有线电视新闻网说，他前一天已致电麦克米伦“了解他的想法”。
