智通财经APP获悉，电影《大空头》原型Michael Burry旗下的Scion资产管理公司对美妆巨头雅诗兰黛(EL.US)持有的股权翻了一番。目前，雅诗兰黛正在带领公司进行转型，以克服北美和中国等关键市场的疲软需求。
据上周四提交给监管机构的文件显示，这位在2008年金融危机前押注美国房地产市场做空的美国投资者目前持有20万股雅诗公司股票，价值1320万美元。这是该公司去年12月底持有的股票数量的两倍。
纽约大学全球品牌营销专家Angeli Gianchandani说：“Burry的赌注表明，人们相信雅诗兰黛有能力在竞争日益激烈的全球市场上恢复其美容巨头的地位。”
自今年1月上任以来，雅诗首席执行官Stephane de La Faverie加大了产品发布力度，并推出了新的奢侈品价格等级，试图在经历了几个季度的缓慢增长后提振需求。
晨星分析师Dan Su表示：“我认为，在首席执行官努力扭转业务的情况下，这对雅诗兰黛来说是一个积极的因素，尽管这笔投资的头寸规模不是很大。”
中美最近宣布的90天暂停关税预计此举将在一定程度上缓解在中国有大量业务的公司的压力。2024财年，包括中国在内的亚太地区约占雅诗兰黛总销售额的31%。
监管文件显示，Burry将其投资组合中的公司数量削减了大约一半，降至七家。Scion在2025年一季度清仓了几乎所有的股票，仅保留了雅诗兰黛的股票，同时对英伟达及多家中国科技公司建立了看跌期权头寸。今年到目前为止，雅诗的股价已经下跌了15%。该公司股价上周五上涨约2%。
