快科技5月19日消息，微软淘汰控制面板有了新进度，微软已将"非Unicode程序的语言设置"和"将当前用户设置复制到欢迎界面及系统账户/新用户账户"两项语言相关选项从控制面板迁移到设置应用中。

具体来说，这两项设置可以在"时间与语言"下的"语言与地区"栏目中找到，这一变化意味着，未来这些设置可能会完全从控制面板中移除。

目前，这些选项在Dev和Beta频道的Windows 11预览版中仍然默认隐藏，微软可能正在对它们进行进一步优化。

"非Unicode程序的语言设置"用于指定非Unicode应用程序默认使用的字符编码（code page），这类程序依赖旧版区域性编码标准（如ANSI或其他传统编码），以显示文本和处理数据。

正确设置这一选项，能确保运行那些在Unicode成为多语言文本编码标准前开发的旧版应用程序。

而"复制用户设置"功能则将当前用户的显示语言、键盘布局等区域设置，同步到欢迎界面（登录界面）和新创建的账户，确保系统界面语言体验一致。

微软一直在逐步将控制面板中的功能迁移到设置应用中，此前，键盘的字符重复延迟和重复率选项，以及鼠标的指针轨迹、指针阴影和自定义等，已从控制面板迁移到设置应用中。
