Talos Energy Names Gregory Babcock as Interim CFO

Talos Energy said it named Gregory Babcock, the company's VP and chief accounting officer, as interim chief financial officer, effective June 28.

Babcock will succeed Sergio Maiworm, who is leaving to pursue a new opportunity, the company said. Maiworm joined Talos in 2018 and has served as CFO since 2024.

Babcock joined Talos in 2014, and has served in his current position since 2019, the company said. Before joining Talos, Babcock worked for Deloitte & Touche.

Talos said it has initiated a comprehensive search for a permanent CFO.
