Blackstone (BX) has initiated the sale of event and exhibition organizer Clarion Events, Reuters reported Tuesday, citing unnamed people familiar with the matter.
Blackstone bought Clarion in 2017 for 600 million pounds ($802 million), Reuters said.
CVC Capital Partners and KKR (KKR) have shown interest in Clarion, as has Asian private equity firm Hillhouse Investment, Reuters reported, citing the people familiar with the matter.
Blackstone, Clarion Events, KKR, CVC Capital Partners, and Hillhouse did not immediately respond to requests for comment from MT Newswires.
