本报讯 （记者肖伟）5月19日，中通快递股份有限公司（以下简称“中通快递”）在公司官方微信公众号“中通之声”上发布消息称，6月1日，新《快递暂行条例》（以下简称《条例》）将正式实施，中通快递积极响应政策号召，不断完善多个环节的绿色化措施，大力推进绿色快递事业。
在中通快递的一处智能仓储配送中心里，3000平方米的空间内有36台机器人在奔忙。得益于自动化技术，该中心日均单量可达3万单，峰值可达7万单，比传统仓库效能提高了3倍。
中通快递工作人员表示：“只有通过智能化、自动化技术为客户降低成本，客户才会愿意使用环保包材。”
《证券日报》记者了解到，在操作环节，中通快递推动无纸化操作；在打包环节，中通快递采用智能包材推荐系统，避免小产品大包装；在封包环节，中通快递提倡用窄胶带以及轻量化打包方式。
中通快递还在推出名为“多生命盒子”的环保纸箱，材料100%可回收。中通快递绿色发展负责人表示：“‘多生命’则代表着纸箱有多次开包机会，可多次反复寄递，实现生命循环。”
