【多国共建“人造太阳”达成重要里程碑】金十数据5月18日讯， 国际热核聚变实验堆（ITER）组织官网近日宣布，经过数十年努力，这一由30多个国家参与建造的“人造太阳”已完成其“电磁心脏”——世界最大、最强的脉冲超导电磁体系统的全部组件建造。该成果被ITER称为“里程碑式的成就”，标志着人类向实现可控核聚变能源迈出关键一步。这一磁体系统由中心螺线管和六个环形极向场磁体协同工作。中心螺线管是一块总高18米，直径4.25米的圆柱形磁体，磁场强度达13特斯拉，相当于地球磁场的28万倍，强大到足以举起一艘航空母舰，结构强度可承受的力相当于航天飞机发射推力的两倍。环形极向场磁体是直径9至25米的超导磁环，中国参与制造。完整组装后的脉冲磁体系统重量将接近3000吨。（新华社）
