消息面上，5月17日，工信部副部长、中国通信学会理事长张云明表示，加速推进5G-A、6G技术研发、产业培育和应用发展，赋能现代化产业体系建设。活动期间，三大运营商联合中国信通院启动算力互联网试验网建设。随着5G-A商用进程的加速与AI技术的普惠，以AI为中心网络有望助力运营商从“流量经营”单一模式向“差异化体验经营”多维模式跨越，深度释放网络连接潜能。
光大证券指出，数字经济强周期下，科技龙头、运营商资本开支持续驱动云计算、数据中心等业务，公司联通云业务有望成为第二增长曲线；公司股息率稳健，近五年平均股息率超过6%，具有较强的稳定性；数据安全重要性日益上升，公司作为国企三大运营商之一，在核心城市数据中心集群等稀缺资源方面具有一定壁垒。该行认为公司具备一定的标的稀缺性和溢价空间，给予中国联通(H)“买入”评级。
