路透旧金山/台北5月19日 - Nvidia(辉达/英伟达)NVDA.O周一宣布推出一个新的软件平台，将建立一个基于云端的人工智能芯片市场。
Nvidia的图形处理器（GPU）主导了AI模型训练市场，并且出现了一批被称为"新云端"（neoclouds）的新兴云端业者，例如CoreWeave和Nebius Group，专门将Nvidia的芯片出租给软件开发者。
Nvidia宣布推出名为Lepton的新工具，让云计算公司可以在一个地方销售 GPU 容量。
Nvidia云计算副总裁Alexis Bjorlin表示，尽管新创公司与大型企业对芯片的需求激增，但寻找可用芯片的过程一直"非常手动"。
Bjorlin在接受路透采访时表示，＂几乎就像每个人都在互相打电话询问有没有计算能力。我们只是想让这一切变得无缝，因为这能促进生态系统的成长与发展，让所有云端业者--无论是全球云端还是新兴云端供应商--都能存取Nvidia完整的开发者生态系。＂
Bjorlin表示，Lepton最终将允许开发者搜寻位于特定国家的Nvidia芯片，以满足数据存储需求。它还将使已经拥有部分 Nvidia 芯片的公司能够更无缝地搜索更多可供租赁的芯片。
Nvidia 并未透露新软件平台的商业模式，也未透露是否会向开发商或云平台收取佣金或费用。(完)
