英国央行货币政策委员会（MPC）委员丁格拉（Swati Dhingra）周一表示，她决定在央行最近的利率决议中投票支持降息50基点，是为了就英国经济的走向做出表态。

　　丁格拉在接受采访时表示：“我可以选择在什么时机更明确地阐述我对经济走向的看法。”

　　“如果我继续降息100个基点，我认为它不会对金融市场对降息的看法产生那么大的影响，”丁格拉补充道：“我认为这不会像我谨慎使用降息措施那么强，而这正是我选择这样做的原因。”

　　5月8日，英国央行将基准银行利率下调了25个基点。丁格拉是货币政策委员会中两位投票支持更大幅度降息50个基点的成员之一，另一位是泰勒。

　　周一，丁格拉还将此次投票归因于她对长期利率水平的更广泛看法。
