消息面上，据媒体报道，2025年5月16日，由于美国政府债务和利率支付比例增加，国际信用评级机构穆迪决定将美国主权信用评级从AAA下调至AA1，同时将美国主权信用评级展望从“负面”调整为“稳定”。至此，标准普尔、惠誉、穆迪这三大主要国际信用机构已全线下调美国的AAA主权信用评级，美国“AAA时代”宣告落幕。
“美国财政政策才是我真正担忧的根源。”2025年5月3日，即使是热衷于“投资美国”的股神巴菲特，也不得不在“退休前夕”对日益逼近的“财政悬崖”发出震耳欲聋的警告。巧合的是，十几天后，美国AAA主权信用评级尽失。
