A lawsuit has been filed against Omnicom Group Inc. and TPN Holdings LLC in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas, alleging age and gender discrimination. Ellen Cook, the former CEO of TPN Holdings, claims the companies violated federal and state discrimination statutes. Cook, 63, who served as CEO since 2023, was terminated in 2024 after raising concerns about pay disparities, discovering a colleague was receiving 40% more in annual compensation. The lawsuit cites a culture of discrimination against women and older employees at Omnicom, highlighting a significant decline in female leadership roles and the replacement of senior female executives with younger, less experienced male counterparts. The legal action also notes that from 2021 to early 2025, male leadership at Omnicom Commerce Group increased from 33% to 75%, coinciding with the removal of the only CEO role held by a woman over 60, Ellen Cook.
