Aguia Resources (ASX:AGR) has begun a surface exploration diamond drilling program at the Santa Barbara gold project in Colombia, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The program initially consists of 25 holes for 2,500 meters and aims to test the strike and dip continuity of the area's known mineralization, the filing stated.
Aguia Resources' shares were down over 2% in recent trade.
