Electric vehicle battery giant Contemporary Amperex Technology (SHE:300750, HKG:3750) raised HK$35.33 billion in net proceeds from its initial public offering in Hong Kong after pricing its shares at HK$263.00 per share, in line with its guidance.
The Hong Kong public offering was 151.15 times oversubscribed, taking the shares offered under this component to 10,168,400 shares from the initial size of 8,842,100 shares, according to a Monday after-market filing with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
Meanwhile, the international offering was 15.17 times oversubscribed, prompting the company to fully exercise the adjustment option and offer 125,410,200 shares, up from the 109,052,400 shares initially available.
In total, the Chinese EV battery company upsized its global offering by 17,684,100 shares.
Shenzhen-listed CATL will make its trading debut on the Hong Kong bourse at 9 am, Tuesday, under the stock code 3750.
