Embattled fertility group Monash IVF has downgraded its full-year earnings guidance after operating conditions deteriorated last month but denied this was linked to a major mistake at one of its clinics that led to a woman unknowingly giving birth to a stranger’s baby.
The company’s share price has fallen about 40 per cent since it was revealed the woman was implanted with the wrong embryo at a clinic in Brisbane.
