路透台北5月19日 - 近期台币强升引发避险成本高涨，令台湾最大寿险公司决议加入外汇价格变动准备金(外价金)新制行列；金管会官员周一称，上周五已收到国泰人寿的外价金新制申请函，若不需补件将会尽快审议。
台湾资产最大金控--国泰金控2882.TW旗下国泰人寿执行副总经理林昭廷稍早指出，已送件申请外汇变动准备金新制，核准后将增加近150亿台币外价金。
他并称，转新制后中长期以降低避险比重为目标，短期避险比重仍须视台币走势而定。
目前金管会已核准友邦、凯基、新光、台新及三商美邦等五家寿险申请外汇价格变动准备金新制。
金管会自去年八月增订外汇价格变动准备金新制，松绑外汇变动准备金累积上限，及提高固定提存比率、额外冲抵比率，让外汇变动准备资金池扩大，增加避险操作弹性并有助降低避险成本。
目前外汇价格变动准备金为新/旧制并存，在外汇价格变动准备金新制上路后采个案申请，一旦选定不可任意变动。(完)
