5月19日下午消息，据晚点报道，美的集团董事长方洪波在接受采访时谈到小米，他表示，小米总裁卢伟冰去年来过一趟美的，演示了一个PPT，“他们有宏大的愿景，大致是三年时间手机销量要成为世界第一；汽车十年内要成为世界前五；大家电是三年之内成为中国头部。”

　　方洪波谈到，当时卢伟冰说小米要在大家电领域做到前三，“我当时差一点就想问，美的、格力、海尔，你想把哪一家挤下去？”

　　“我们所有的领域小米都进入了，空调、洗衣机全做了。战术上我重视小米，但战略上我并不害怕小米进来。”方洪波坦言，“很长一段时间，家电行业的格局有点固化了，大家甘于现有格局，相安无事，小米进来对家电行业是好事。我们要以积极的心态应对，我们刚做了三份研究小米报告，加起来也有十几万字，我们一路不断地在学习它。”
