圣路易斯联邦储备银行行长Alberto Musalem表示，由于企业和消费者预计短期内价格会上涨，官员们把关注点放在保持长期通胀预期稳定。

　　Musalem周五在阿肯色州本顿维尔的一场活动上表示，“美联储不希望短期通胀预期上升到可能影响长期通胀预期的水平。”他还表示，“那会使我们在实现充分就业和维持物价稳定方面的工作更加艰巨。”

　　美联储官员本周暗示，他们对潜在利率调整的观望态度可能会额外持续数月，以便能够更明确地了解关税及其对美国经济的影响。普遍预计关税将加剧通胀并拖累经济增长，这可能会使美联储的两项使命陷入紧张。

　　Musalem表示，“短期通胀预期正在上升，一些长期通胀预期指标也在上升，而大多数其他指标则保持锚定。”

　　特朗普周五宣布的一则消息可能会进一步加剧通胀预期。他在社交媒体上发帖威胁从6月1日起对来自欧盟的商品征收50%的关税，并表示如果苹果公司不在美国生产iPhone，则将对其征收至少25%的关税。

　　Musalem还表示，未来10年内利率不太可能恢复到疫情前的水平。

　　“这个概率可能最多只有五分之一，”Musalem说，“我们正在管理一个不同的经济。”
