路透华盛顿5月23日 - 美国总统特朗普周五宣布，美国钢铁公司 X.N和日本日本制铁 5401.T已同意建立“计划的合作伙伴关系”，这意味着该钢铁公司将继续留在美国，总部设在匹兹堡。
特朗普在 Truth Social 的一篇帖子中表示：“这是美国钢铁和日本制铁计划的合作伙伴关系，将创造至少 7 万个就业岗位，并为美国经济增加 140 亿美元。”
特朗普表示，大部分投资将在未来 14 个月内完成。
