据CNBC，特斯拉老板、亿万富翁马斯克近日在接受采访时表示，在人工智能领域，中国有两件事做得很好，其中一件更是令他相当“钦佩”。
马斯克称，中国拥有强大的发电能力，不仅建设了大批的发电站，而且还会建设更多。他打比方说，中国的发电量就好比飞出地球轨道的火箭一样迅猛，但美国在这方面则几乎没有变化。
马斯克之所以对中国的发电能力如此关注，不仅是因为他的企业特斯拉卖新能源车，还因为他正在进军人工智能领域。在他看来，人工智能的发展前景离不开强大发电能力的支持。“我认为到了今年年底，中国的发电量将达到美国的大约2.5倍”，马斯克说道，“而且中国还在朝着达到美国3-4倍的目标前进着”。
随后，CNBC的主播询问马斯克中国是否已经在一些重要的领域超过了美国。马斯克则表示，虽然美国在创新能力上仍有优势，但他很“钦佩”中国的一点是，中国聪明且有天赋的人才非常之多，而且相当勤奋。“我认为很多中国之外的人并不了解中国的强大。中国确实是不同寻常的”，马斯克说。
