路透华盛顿5月20日 - 美国总统特朗普周二表示，他已为耗资1,750亿美元的"金穹"导弹防御系统选定了设计方案，并任命一名太空军将领负责领导这项旨在阻止中国和俄罗斯威胁的宏大计划。
该计划由特朗普于今年1月首次下令实施，旨在建立一个卫星网络（数量可能达到数百颗），以探测、跟踪并可能拦截来袭导弹。
特朗普在白宫的新闻发布会上表示，美国太空军上将盖特林（Michael Guetlein）将担任这项计划的主要负责人。该计划被外界广泛视为特朗普军事规划的基石。
特朗普说，该导弹防御系统应在2029年1月他任期结束前投入使用，但业内专家对这一时间框架和成本不太有把握。
金穹计划面临着政治审查和资金不确定性。
"新的成本预估是1,750亿美元，但需要多长时间的问题仍未解决。很可能需要10年，"战略与国际研究中心的Tom Karako说。
美国国会预算办公室本月估计，"金穹"计划在20年内的可能耗资高达8,310亿美元。
"金穹"的资金来源仍不确定。共和党议员提议为该计划提供250亿美元的初始投资，作为规模达1,500亿美元的更广泛国防计划的一部分，但这笔资金与一项在国会面临重大障碍的和解法案挂钩。
"除非和解法案获得通过，否则'金穹'项目的资金可能无法落实，"一位不愿具名的行业高管表示。"这将危及整个项目的时间表"。(完)
