STI Education Systems (PSE:STI) posted net income of 706.6 million Philippine pesos for the first quarter, up 18% annually from 600.3 million pesos.
The company attributed this growth to a 15% expansion of the student population to 138,060 in school year, 2024-2025, according to a Wednesday Philippine bourse filing.
Revenue rose 8% to 1.51 billion pesos from 1.39 billion pesos in the same period a year prior.
