智通财经APP获悉，美国加密货币交易所Kraken宣布，将在未来几周内面向欧洲、拉丁美洲、非洲和亚洲的非美国客户推出超过50种美股和ETF的代币化版本，包括苹果(AAPL.US)、特斯拉(TSLA.US)、英伟达(NVDA.US)等知名公司。这些被称为“xStocks”的代币将在Solana区块链上运行，支持每周7天、每天24小时的全天候交易，旨在为全球投资者提供更便捷的美股投资渠道。
Kraken与金融科技公司Backed Finance合作，后者将购买并托管实际的股票和ETF份额，并发行相应数量的代币。这些代币将与其对应的股票价格保持一致，并可兑换为相应的现金价值。
Kraken联合首席执行官Arjun Sethi表示：“我们正在为全球投资者减少进入美股市场的障碍。”他指出，海外投资者通常通过本地经纪商购买美股，但这通常涉及高昂的费用和较长的结算时间。
值得注意的是，Kraken的这一服务将不向美国用户开放，以避免潜在的监管问题。此前，其他加密货币交易所尝试推出类似的代币化股票服务，但由于监管压力而被迫终止。Kraken表示，正在与各国监管机构积极合作，确保其xStocks产品在各个国家合法合规地推出。
Kraken的xStocks计划被视为传统金融与加密货币领域融合的重要一步。通过将传统股票代币化，投资者可以在不受传统交易时间限制的情况下，灵活地进行投资。此外，这些代币还可以转移到个人数字钱包中，或用作去中心化金融(DeFi)策略的抵押品，进一步拓展了其应用场景。
