Barton Gold Holdings (ASX:BGD) has started a new about 3,000-meter drilling campaign across its Tarcoola and Challenger projects in South Australia, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
The program includes around 2,500 metres of drilling at the Tarcoola Gold Project and 500 metres of early-stage scout drilling at the Challenger Gold Project, the filing said.
The drilling aims to identify potential sources of mineralisation suitable for Stage 1 mill feed and guide future exploration.
Shares of the company rose 5% in recent Thursday trade.
