　　据了解此次裁员情况但未被授权公开发言的人士透露，公司将裁减全球技术团队的部分职位。其中一位知情人士表示，受影响的员工人数不到1500人。

　　沃尔玛未对裁员事件发表评论。该公司股价在纽约盘后基本持平。截至周三收盘，沃尔玛股价年迄今上涨6.7%，跑赢同期标普500指数。

　　此次裁员旨在精简组织架构，沃尔玛在2月进行了重组，当时公司削减了部分岗位，并要求员工迁往阿肯色州或加州的中心办公室。该公司在美国拥有约160万名员工，是美国最大的私营雇主。

　　沃尔玛近几个季度的表现优于竞争对手，但警告关税上涨导致商品势将涨价。这些言论在上周末引发了美国总统唐纳德·特朗普的不满。
