智通财经APP获悉，周三，wolfspeed(WOLF.US)开盘暴跌66%，一度触发临时停牌，现报1.03美元。消息面上，据华尔街日报援引知情人士消息称，半导体碳化硅晶圆龙头Wolfspeed由于一直无法解决债务危机，将在数周内申请破产。公司拒绝了债权人提出的多项庭外债务重组方案，计划申请第11章破产保护，这一申请也得到其大多数债权人的支持。
华尔街分析师认为，Wolfspeed管理层在资本配置、执行和战略方面的失误导致公司经营出现巨大问题。Wolfspeed未来的归宿基本上就是破产或者被收购。
