安哥拉国家石油天然气和生物燃料管理局20日发表声明说，位于安哥拉北部卡宾达省附近海域的一座海上石油平台当天凌晨发生火灾，造成17人受伤，其中4人伤势严重。声明说，火灾发生在当地时间3时左右。所有伤者已被送往陆地接受治疗，事故原因正在调查中。该平台自5月1日起停止生产作业，火灾发生时正处于年度例行检修阶段。据悉，出事海上石油平台位于卡宾达海域的14区块，由美国雪佛龙子公司卡宾达海湾石油公司运营。
