官方数据显示英国4月通胀加速程度超出预期后，英镑兑美元汇率攀升至三年高点。4月英国消费者价格指数同比上涨3.5%，较3月的2.6%明显加速，亦高于分析师预期的3.4%。剔除波动较大的能源和食品价格后，4月核心通胀率从3月的3.4%升至3.8%，高于预期的3.6%。

　　Peppertone策略师迈克尔·布朗在一份报告中指出，此数据或令英国央行难以在6月实施降息。受此影响，叠加美元走弱，英镑兑美元汇率在数据公布后升至1.3469美元，数据发布前报1.3437美元。欧元兑英镑汇率则持平于0.8427英镑，数据发布前报0.8438英镑。
