Alphabet旗下自动驾驶子公司Waymo的联合首席执行官Tekedra Mawakana周二表示，该公司旗下无人驾驶出租车的出行次数已经达到1000万次，在过去5个月里增加了一倍。

　　“这些都是付费旅行，它们代表了那些真正将Waymo Driver融入日常生活的人，”Mawakana在谷歌I/O开发者大会上说。这1000万人次包括奥斯汀、洛杉矶、旧金山和凤凰城地区。

　　Alphabet在4月份的盈利报告中表示，Waymo目前每周提供超过25万次付费机器人出租车服务。周一，Waymo表示已获得批准，将其自动驾驶叫车服务扩展到旧金山湾区的更多地区，包括圣何塞。

　　这家机器人出租车公司是Alphabet“其他赌注”部门的一部分。该公司第一季度整体营收同比下降9%，至4.5亿美元，营业亏损从一年前的10.2亿美元增至12.3亿美元。

　　虽然这些数字包括了许多业务，但Mawakana证实，Waymo尚未实现盈利，但该公司“非常专注于建立可持续的业务”。

　　“我们正在证明，这是一项有利可图的业务，”她说，“有一条通往盈利的道路。”
