智通财经APP获悉，华硕电脑公司联席首席执行官许先越(Samson Hu)表示，新一代人工智能(AI)驱动的个人电脑(PC)需等到2026年或更晚才能真正推动市场增长。
华硕、联想集团等厂商去年纷纷推出AI PC，但这并未提振死气沉沉的笔记本电脑市场。许先越认为，美国新政府密集发布的关税政策也降低了市场对今年的预期。他在台北国际电脑展(Computex)期间接受彭博新闻采访时透露，华硕可能考虑将美国市场售价提高至多10%，以抵消关税成本。
这位高管指出，全球经济担忧和关税影响抑制了消费者在电脑上的支出，而由于现有软件尚不成熟，AI目前未能像许多人预期的那样吸引用户。
自2019年起担任全球最大PC和组件制造商之一联席CEO的许先越表示：“最初预计PC行业的市场增长率约为5%。但由于关税政策的不确定性，我认为目前大多数预测已下调至1%或2%，甚至可能持平。”
CEO提到，支持AI任务的硬件已上市，例如微软公司在2024年台北电脑展上推出的多款Windows系统Copilot+ PC笔记本电脑。但他认为，行业可能需要再等一到两年，直到第三方应用开发商开发出充分利用这些硬件性能的软件。
