外电引述消息人士指，全球钴业龙头、中国洛阳钼业(03993.HK) 副总裁Kenny Ives日前在新加坡一场行业闭门会议中，呼吁全球最大钴产国刚果(金)应尽快取消对钴的出口禁令；而钴为制作电动车电池的关键原材料。
Kenny Ives在会上指，中国的钴库存逐渐耗尽，刚果(金)有必要恢复自由出口。他又指，若钴的出口持续受限，可能促使汽车制造商加速转向不含钴的磷酸铁锂(LFP)电池。部分中国电动车制造商如比亚迪(01211.HK) 等，已采用LFP电池，这类电池亦越来越常用于大型储能项目。
消息指，参加该会议的刚果(金)官员将Kenny Ives对LFP电池的言论视为威胁，加强了官员对于中国试图压低钴价格以建立战略储备的担忧。
刚果(金)自今年2月起实施为期四个月的钴出口禁令，以尝试抑制因钴供应过剩而导致价格暴跌的局面。当时钴价跌至每磅约10美元，创九年低。有关禁令将于下月到期。(ss/da)(港股报价延迟最少十五分钟。沽空资料截至 2025-05-20 16:25。)
