Duketon Mining (ASX:DKM) said it progressed exploration activity at the Killarney gold project and the Barlee gold project, both in Western Australia, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
It completed a preliminary site visit at the Killarney project with a previous operator of the project. The firm collected additional rock chip samples from regional targets for laboratory analysis.
Mapping over the project has been completed to determine lithologies and structures before any geochemical and target testing work.
It plans to conduct auger geochemical sampling and reverse circulation drilling over the project.
Duketon completed a reconnaissance field trip to the Barlee project. The firm is planning to complete infill soil sampling at the project to provide focus for air core drilling.
